The only free market in Nigeria today is religion and they do enjoy enormous amount of freedom that no other sector in the country has.

You won’t need to be an Economist or Academics of any sort to see this, just wander round the town, pick any town randomly, the evidence is overwhelmingly choking, yes, choking is the word as it really captures  the full extent of impact religion has on citizens today.

Free market sometimes could be beneficial to the economy as they are usually unregulated by the government bodies  so buyers and sellers could reach equilibrium on prices. Some argue that a completely free market is an idealised market economy.
